Ecuato-Guineano Plácido Guimaraes ( http://pochog.weebly.com) Tuve la suerte de conocerlo en la ciudad de Malabo donde residí durante un tiempo.
Vive en Madrid tras regresar a España hace dos años. Desde el día 28 de Septiembre del 2020 se encuentra en la calle. Es un señor de 68 años y un increíble artista que trata de sobrevivir creando sus maravillosos tapices. Ha expuesto en diversas galerías, como pueden ver en su página web (poco actualizada) y por encima de artista es una magnífica persona.
Pido donaciones para que pueda encontrar un sitio fijo donde vivir y poder seguir creando sus maravillosos tapices. Se encuentra en una situación desesperada.
He puesto la cantidad a recaudar de 2900 € pues se encuentra en una situación desesperada. y yo me encuentro desesperada porque desafortunadamente no puedo ayudarle de otra manera.
Es la primera vez que utilizo este medio para pedir ayuda, ya que realmente lo necesita. Tengo la esperanza que una vez tenga un espacio donde vivir, una vez consiga su pensión (tiene la nacionalidad española también) pueda continuar viviendo y trabajando de una manera digna.

My name is Teresa and I am trying to raise funds for the Equato-Guinean artist Plácido Guimaraes (http://pochog.weebly.com) I was lucky enough to meet him in the city of Malabo where I lived for a while.
Two years ago he moved to Madrid (Spain) .
Since September 28, 2020 he is on the streets. He is a 68-year-old man who has gone through and goes through many hardships, he is an incredible artist who tries to survive by creating his wonderful tapestries. He has exhibited in various galleries, as you can see on his website (not too much up to date) and above being an artist he is a magnificent person.
I ask for donations so that I can find a permanent place for him to live and continue to create his wonderful tapestries. He is in a desperate situation.
I have put the amount to be raised of 2,900€ because he is in a desperate situation. and I find myself desperate because unfortunately I cannot help him in any other way.
It is the first time that I use this medium to ask for help, because he really needs it. With the hope that once he has a space to live, once he gets his pension (he also has Spanish nationality) he can continue living and working in a dignified way.
